Tuition Due Dates
Billing begins in early August for fall semester, January for spring semester, and May for summer semester.
The Board of Trustees approves the tuition rates and mandatory fees for the academic year in mid-July.
Please note that in light of the current global health crisis, some or all instruction for all or part of the 2020-21 Academic Year may be delivered remotely. Tuition and fees for 2020-21 apply regardless of the method of instruction (that is, whether in-person or otherwise) and will not be refunded in the event instruction occurs remotely for any part of the Academic Year.
Students pursuing a graduate degree or certificate at the Navy Yard are eligible for in-state tuition regardless of state residence.

Note: Charges billed and unpaid by the due date are subject to a late fee of 1.5%.
Paying by Sessions
To pay the tuition bill by sessions, each semester the Penn State Great Valley bursar office must be contacted either by email at [email protected] or telephone at 610-648-3238. If the office is not notified, the 1.5% late fee will be applied to the student's account.
World Campus
For the fall and spring semesters, resident instruction students taking World Campus credits will be billed the resident instruction tuition rate based on their primary campus location. If a full-time resident instruction student registers for World Campus credits, there will be no additional charge for World Campus credits. Part-time students will be charged tuition for World Campus credits based on the student's primary campus location. Some World Campus courses may be excluded.
Professional Development Students
Students enrolled in noncredit professional development courses or certificate programs can view course costs on the individual program pages.
