GMAT Exam Preparation

Get ready for graduate school with Penn State at the Navy Yard. Offered through Penn State Great Valley, our preparation course will help students prepare for the GMAT Exam, which is required to apply to many master's degrees, including our MBA program.

CN ED 5005A: 15 sessions, 15 hours, (1.5 CEUs)
Dates: Rolling admissions
*Students will schedule one-hour sessions with instructors

Course Overview

Our course consists of 15 sessions where the math, verbal, and integrated reasoning sections of the test will be reviewed, as well as GMAT shortcuts, skills, and strategies. During the last session, students will take a timed practice test which they grade themselves. The class is taught by a practicing professional who has prestigious certifications, subject expertise, and a wealth of real-world experience, ensuring you’ll learn important, hands-on lessons.

MBA Discount

Upon completion of the GMAT Exam Preparation course, students become eligible to receive a tuition credit associated with second semester enrollment in the MBA program at Penn State at the Navy Yard. Individuals will receive a credit of $375— the cost of the GMAT course.

To obtain the credit, individuals must apply and be accepted to the MBA program and successfully complete the first semester of the program. Students will receive a credit on the tuition for the second semester.*

Continuing Education Units

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are awarded based on a standard of one unit per ten (10) hours of classroom contact.

Note: The University reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.

*Only available for the MBA offered at Penn State at the Navy Yard. Students who take GMAT Exam Preparation have 60 days from the last day of class to submit their online application to Penn State at the Navy Yard, and must be enrolled in the first course within 9 months of completing the GMAT Exam Preparation course.
